Whether you’re a seasoned competitive runner, a recreational weekend warrior or are just looking to get started then come and join the Trottin Terps as we run and jog across Western New York starting in March 2010!
The Trottin Terps was started by friends Pat Moran and Paul Diebold with the purpose of promoting both healthy living and community for runners of all levels. From recreational running to competitive running, if you feel like tightening up the laces for a 10 miler or getting out for a one mile jog then we welcome you to join us as we put one foot in front of the other!
Also, this site can be used to share running tips, race info, or anything else pertaining to jogging or running. Not only do we want to have a strong community of runners in this group but we encourage to share thoughts, ideas, and tips via this blog/web-site.
You may ask yourself why would I want to run? Well Pat and Paul can tell you that they were not always the most avid runners and they would have looked at you like you were “crazy” a few years ago if you asked them to run. However, as they started to run they realized that their energy level increased, their bodies changed, and all in all they just felt healthier. That in itself is enough motivaton and running proves to be one of the best ways to increase cardiovascular fitness levels and lose weight.
After each time we run we will be meeting at a local restaurant to get some possible needed fuel, share some running tips, and just get to know the people that you were just running side by side with…
Looking forward to meeting and see you in March 2010!
